About Savanna

I love working with children and watching them grow! Seeing them learn and explore the world around them is so rewarding. I have a 7-year-old daughter myself, and becoming a mother has given me a greater passion for the importance of quality childcare! Our children are the future, and it's vital we provide them with the tools needed for success. I have my AA degree in Early Childhood Education, and several years of experience. I began babysitting at a young age, have been a nanny for several yrs, and have also worked at 3 licensed centers as well as a recreation center where I taught swim lessons. I practice a play-based approach, and enjoy doing many different activities, such as reading, crafts, music, and outdoor learning! I value communication and believe it is essential to teach children how to verbalize their needs from an early age with baby sign language. I also value mutual respect, and believe children of all ages deserve respect and independence and I treat them as such!
