About Serena

Hello families! My name is Serena and in May I will graduate with my Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology. I am moving to Phoenix on June 1st as I have accepted a job working as a school speech therapist. I will have availability for childcare and/or tutoring during June and early July. Once the school year begins, I will be available weekday evenings and on weekends. As a speech therapist, I have extensive training in working with children of all ages and those with disabilities such as Autism and Down syndrome. As far as child care experience, I have been caring for children of military families on Fort Bliss for the past 4 years with many references. During undergrad in Denton, Texas I worked for one family for one year helping with tutoring and child care twice a week. I have my own car and am CPR certified. I love animals and am okay with pets in the home. Thank you for your consideration!
