About Me My name is Shakia, and I founded Shakia Kare because I genuinely care. I'm warm-hearted, compassionate, and deeply passionate about helping others. My caregiving journey began with my beloved grandmother, who had dementia. While spending time in the nursing home, I was often encouraged by residents and nurses to pursue caregiving because of my natural patience and empathy. These experiences inspired me to become a Caregiver and Home Companion. I believe in creating meaningful connections and providing attentive, personalized care.
