About Shalona
Hello! After caring for my two younger siblings, I have found caring for kids to be a second nature. My first job ever was an amusement park for younger kids and I enjoyed the interactions and joy on their faces. I went on to work with kids at an after school program through the YMCA. I worked closely with a class of 5th graders, helping with homework, snacks, and activities. I currently work as a DSP in a group home with older kids. I enjoy doing fun activities, watching movies, and reading books. I am comfortable with doing light errands and pickup/drop off.
