About Shamiran

I have been caring for children since my early teens. My first full-time paid babysitting job was with a family in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles. I was responsible for two children, a girl aged two and a boy aged four. I was employed by that family for two years until the children reached ages four and six. I enjoyed watching the children grow and experience special moments while also easing their parents everyday stress. In 2016 I worked full time as a nanny in Brentwood, CA. I cared for a 6-month-old boy for one year. This is where I gained further experience with long term & short term traveling, weekends, overnights, and holidays. This job experience really made me appreciate taking care of infants and I really hope to get the chance to do it again. In 2018 I worked full time in Woodland Hills caring for two kids age 8 and 10. I was employed with that family until April 2020. I am CPR & First Aid certified. I'm looking forward to getting the chance to meet your family.

We love Shami and are so sad to lose her. My husband is out of work due to C19 otherwise she would still be working for us - so I'm writing this review with tears in my eyes. Shami is more than a nanny, she will be your kids best friend. She is fun, creative and engaged. For us she picked up from school, helped with homework, cooked yummy meals and got them ready for bed. Sounds simple, right? It's not. In between all that is mediating sibling disputes, jumping on the trampoline, doing fun art projects, taking them on walks, playing and making sure they don't just go to their rooms and watch a screen. We were lucky to have Shami in our lives. You will be too.
