About Shane

Hello! My name is Shane and I'm currently working on my Masters degree (all online) while I work part-time at the Putnam County Veterans Memorial Park. I also have six years of lifeguarding experience, three of those years serving as head guard. I earned some extremely valuable child supervision skills through that time and currently tutor/babysit a family of 3 boys aged 8, 10, and 12. I've been babysitting since I was 15 and have a variety of families I work for. Having a male babysitter is quite unorthodox, but extremely necessary for children to have good male role models. I approach babysitting in a way where I can bond with your child(ren) through playing outside and interactive games, and integrate learning strategies to make homework fun and enjoyable. In my free time I love hiking, reading, and exercising.
