About Shanna

Hello! I'm an energetic, nurturing and patient childcare provider with 6+ years of experience. I have experience working with children from the ages of 3 months to 17 years old. I've worked at private schools, public schools and as a nanny. I've also worked at behavioral health agencies as an ABA therapist where I've supported children with special needs. My specialty is working with children who have developmental disabilities, but I truly love working with all kids. I'm skilled in preparing formula/mother's milk, meal prep, introducing/feeding solids, diaper changes, potty training, sleep strategies and light housekeeping. I love singing, reading stories, leading outdoor activities, and creating fun, age-appropriate art projects. I am CPR + First Aid certified. In the care I provide, I take a supportive and patient approach while encouraging independence when appropriate, and I strive to make learning fun to foster skills for self sufficiency.
