About Shannan

I'm Shannan! I'm a Registered Nurse with more than 20 years of experience caring for adults in a variety of settings, including critical care, cardiology, outpatient care, recovery, and infusion therapy. At this point in my career, I'm especially interested in providing more personal, one-on-one care. I enjoy getting to know the people I'm helping and being able to give them the time and attention that can be hard to provide in a busy medical setting. I'm comfortable helping with things like medication reminders, appointments, mobility, recovery after surgery, wound care, chronic health needs, and general companionship. I'm dependable, calm in stressful situations, and very comfortable communicating with family members when needed. I'm looking for part-time opportunities with one or two families where I can provide consistent, reliable care and hopefully make life a little easier for everyone involved
