About Shannon

I'd describe my personality as creative, compassionate, outgoing I like working with kids because because their curiosity is insatiable; their joy is contagious, & their uniqueness is refreshing. I'm looking for a job that values trust, respect, & positive communication- all sprinkled with humor to add levity. I started working with kids when I was a I lifeguard & swim instructor. Then, I pursued a career as a teacher. I'm transitioning to provide in home care for families & bring my skills and experience to support beyond the classroom. In my spare time, I love to workout at the gym. I lift weights, climb stairs, & do yoga. I enjoy baking cookies, spending time with my daughter (senior in college), swimming, going to the beach, & listening to music! One thing you should know about me is I'm really creative & I like to do crafts, draw, & make up fun games and activities. My skills include being fair, consistent, & positive !
