This past weekend was the first time I left my one-year-old with someone who wasn’t family or a close friend, so I was a little nervous. Shannon did an excellent job easing my nerves and communicated with me throughout the evening. She played with my daughter up until bedtime and made sure she felt comfortable and cared for. I felt completely at ease knowing my little one was in such good hands. My daughter had a great time with her, and I would absolutely book her again. I would highly recommend Shannon to anyone looking for a reliable, caring babysitter!

Shannon took amazing care of my 6 month old son and 6 year old daughter. My daughter took to her right away. I was still getting ready in the bathroom and could hear them laughing and playing in the other room within minutes of her walking in the house. When my husband and I got home, both babies were sleeping peacefully in their room. We have hired plenty of babysitters on Care.com and my daughter said Shannon was her favorite. We are looking forward to having her over again.

We had the pleasure of hiring Ms. Shannon through Care.com for a recent conference at our church, and we were incredibly impressed with her service. From the moment she arrived, she was professional, attentive, and fully engaged with the children in her care. She followed all of our church’s safety guidelines with excellence, which gave us great peace of mind as leaders and parents. More than that, she connected so well with the kids keeping them active, cared for, and happy throughout the entire event. She was truly a blessing to have, and we are so grateful for the way she served our families. We absolutely look forward to having her back for future events and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of trustworthy, compassionate childcare.

She was very nice. And  my babies enjoyed  “playing” with Shannon. Our oldest had lots of fun taking care of her pretend puppy and babies. He did well with our crazy climber and wobbly walker. 

Shannon has wonderful reviews and has been hired frequently in our neighborhood, so we were very interested in meeting her. She did not show for our scheduled interview/meeting. We value communication and feel it is important to keep commitments. She was responsive after we asked about her no showing, so it may have been a one-time forgetfulness. I am providing this review only in the event this is repetitive behavior.

Shannon was amazing, on time and professional! We’ll definitely be hiring again when we’re in the area! 

Shannon watched my kids for a full Saturday during the day, and I honestly could not have asked for a better first babysitting experience for them. This was their first time ever having a sitter, and as a mom I was understandably nervous—especially because my son is autistic and new situations can be challenging for him.

From the moment Shannon arrived, she was calm, kind, and incredibly intuitive with both of my kids. She met them exactly where they were, made them feel comfortable, and built trust so naturally that my worries completely melted away. By the time I got home, it was obvious they felt safe and genuinely happy with her. They were relaxed, smiling, and already asking when they’d see her again—which says everything.

Shannon was attentive, patient, and engaging, and she handled everything with such confidence and care. It meant the world to me to know my kids were not just “watched,” but truly cared for.

I am beyond grateful to have found her and will absolutely be reaching out to her again very soon. Any parent would be lucky to have Shannon care for their children. 💕

Shannon did an absolutely outstanding job taking care of my mother on New Year’s Eve into New Year’s Day..  She was very kind to my mother and attentive to her needs.  She has my highest recommendation!!!  I would happily hire her again.

Shannon was a God send to our family for care. My wife and I needed help for her post operative care such as: bathing, toileting, medications, household management, and wound care. Shannon went above and beyond, and spent time with our kids because my wife couldn’t and was in a lot of pain. She tended to our household chores and important tasks that couldn’t be done without my wife. And made herself available for almost everything. She stayed overnight to monitor and care for her as well as help with the kids getting ready for school the night before. During her stay she took care of my son after he quickly caught a cold from school and still assisted with the duties for my wife. Our original caregiver cancelled last minute and left us in a bind and she made sure we were well taken care of! Thank you Shannon. We will be absolutely using her for my services such as Nanny Caretaker. Highly recommend.

Shannon agreed to be at our place at 4p. She messaged 15 minutes later she is on her way and arrived half an hour later. She got paid for 4 hours yet was here only two and ignored my messages to return the money owed. 

Shannon was really great with both of our kids! We have a 6 month old infant and a 2yr old. We booked her for a 3 day weekend where she watched our littles over long 10-14 hour days. Anytime I got back home my infant was clearly well cared for and happy. My 2yr old would be sad to see her go. He even asks me if he can play cars with Ms Shannon. She truly gets down on their level and spends quality time doing activities that they love. I will most definitely be using her services again!

Excellent from the start. Very responsive, dependable, and flexible. Assimilated into our lives/home very quickly. Look forward to working with her again soon.

Shannon was exactly what we were hoping for. She was very responsive from the start, which put us at ease during the hiring process. My kids (10 & 6) immediately warmed to her, and I felt comfortable inviting her into our home. We’re excited to continue having her as part of our family.

We have two teen girls who help us out with date night babysitting, however, my husband and I like to occasionally go on overnight trips and don't have any family nearby to assist us.

Shannon has helped us out on multiple occassions with overnight trips.  She is reliable, kind, and trustworthly.  She makes a special effort to do something special for our 8 year old who loves it.
