About Shannon

Hello!! My name is Shannon and I'm eager to learn more about opportunities as a childcare provider. I have 10 years experience working with children from ages 3 mos to 19 yr's. My passion for childcare originally stemmed from being a private nanny prior to furthering my education in Applied Behavior Analysis. I provided duties such as meal prep, academic support, transportation, medication management, assistance daily tasks to promote independence, providing healthy strategies to replace maladaptive behaviors to socially acceptable behavior, always maintaining a positive attitude and safe environment so the child feels safe express themselves freely. Most recently, I provide ABA therapy sessions in a home base setting as well as a clinic for group sessions. I connect well with all ages and personalities!!
