About Shannon

I'd describe my personality as grounded, engaging, conscientious I like working with kids because no two days are ever the same. Building meaningful relationships with children and families is rewarding for all. I'm looking for a job that values my approach and experience as a longtime professional. I started working with kids when I worked at an art studio in my early 20's, teaching children how to draw and oil paint. In my spare time, I like to cook, play with my dogs and tend my garden. One thing you should know about me is I'm low/no screens as much as possible, preferring to make crafts or go on adventures! My skills include patience and empathy, knowledge of child development and safety/first aid.
