About Shannon

I've provided cared for children since 2011, which I've always enjoyed and have found fulfilling. I have experience with all different age groups: 8-month-olds, 3-year-olds, was a nature camp counselor for 6-7-year-olds, overnight camp counselor for 10-year-olds, and was an outdoor skills instructor for all ages from 5-15. I've worked as a wilderness therapy guide, working with individuals on the spectrum, ADHD, ODD, and a wide range of other mental health diagnoses. I have been working in education (middle & high school) for the past 3 years on the island of O'ahu and am very passionate about working with youth. I'm now back in Salt Lake City looking for a family to support! One of the career paths I'm considering for my future is being a child psychologist and I invest my full attention and care into the children I am looking after, with a positive and fun attitude!
