Hello, my name is Sharon. Currently I am looking for a part-time/full time nanny position. Ever since I landed my first position working with children I knew that was where my heart belonged. I provide a safe, nurturing and loving environment that is orderly and meets the physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of the children under my care . I possess a strong intuition of a child's heart and mind. I have experience in caring for children of all ages from infancy to adolescence including multiples. I have taken college courses in Early Childhood Development. I've gained a deep understanding and love for children the more I care for them. I focus on all developmental areas of a child's life, such as: emotional, mental, and physical. Also, I have worked with children and their parents on behavior issues and provided one-on-one tutoring. While a child is under my care I encourage strong character and honesty. I believe respecting children is the key to communication and listening to their heart is far more effective than trying to interpret their outward behavior or actions. Meeting children at their own personal level allows them to feel accepted and understood, which enhances security. I love and adore the uniqueness of each child and I support and encourage their individuality. I love children and caring for them is a constant joy.
