About Shauna

Looking to get a start in Behavioral Gerontology. For the past 20 years, I have owned an Autism center, providing behavioral therapy services. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Over the last year, I have taken 10. 5 continuing education credits in Behavioral Gerontology. I'm looking to gain experience helping families develop plans to help their loved ones with dementia who may be exhibiting unwanted behaviors around their daily living routines such as bathing, eating, wandering, and leisure skills. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, intelligent, and caring. I like caring for seniors because I would like to help them be as independent as possible and maintain their daily activities. I'm looking for a job that can give me some good experience in a part of my career field that is new to me. This is a brand new field for me. I have been serving children and adults with autism for over 20 years and would like to add something new to my career.
