About Shawna

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, goofy and straightforward. I like working with kids because I love to see them grow. It's very rewarding to see their little smiles when they are so proud after mastering whatever skill we've worked so hard on. I'm looking for a job that allows me to lead, have organized structure and trusts my judgement. I started working with kids when I was just 11 years old. I'd often babysit for family, friends of my mom, and some of our neighbors. In my spare time, I like to read, write, research different areas of interest, make custom hair units for woman suffering from hair loss and shop. One thing you should know about me is I am very passionate about what I do. As a mother of three myself, I know how important it is to be able to find childcare from someone who would treat your child just as they would their very own. Whenever a child is in my care, that becomes my child too. My skills include potty training, leadership and patience.
