About Shayla

I found Shayla through my church back in 2022 when my wife and I were planning on volunteering for a missionary trip and needed to have child care for our 3 children. At the time our children were between the ages of 4-10. We had shayla babysit for us two days before the 5 day trip. One time during the day and then another time in the evening for a date night where she was to preform the night time routine. With both days being successful and my children really enjoyed spending time with her we made the decision that we could trust Shayla with taking care of our kids during our mission trip. While we were away Shayla sent us daily updates and made sure to work out a time for us to talk to the kids every day. 3 of the 5 days we were away Shayla was able to take our two older children to school and our youngest to daycare on time and pick the kids up on time every day as well. Shayla did a great job with also taking care of our house and pets (1 dog, 2 cats). We really only expected shayla to prepare breakfast and Dinner, clean the dishes and vacuum if needed but she took it upon herself to have the kids room clean and all the laundry done the day before we came back. After our trip we have had Shayla babysit for us multiple times and know we can rely on her for any other trips we want to take or if we just want a date night. Our kids love her and really have lots of fun when she comes over.
