About Shayleigh

I have worked as a CNA for a year and a half now at NHC Rehab Center. I work with geriatric patients and, although it is a little different, I have experience in feeding, bathing, and diapering them. While I haven't had paid experience in the childcare setting, I have been volunteering in my church nursery since I was 12 and also have younger cousins, siblings, and neighbors that I have cared for growing up. I love children and I am currently seeking a degree in speech pathology at ETSU. Growing up, I have always had a love for children and the imaginative fun that caring for them brings. I find it so rewarding and I hope to incorporate that love into my future career. I'm looking for a job that is flexible with my hours, as I am also working as a CNA every other Sunday. I am unsure of my availability once school starts back for me in late August, but this summer, I plan to be available as much as I can for short-notice or regular part-time care.
