About Shayna

I am currently a high school teacher going to graduate school to become a school counselor. I am looking to supplement my income over the summer, after school, and during breaks. I have helped raise children personally from newborn to 9 years old. Professionally, I have worked with children from kindergarten age to 18 years of age. I would love to be a permanent, consistent, and caring addition to families that need occasional weekend or after school help as well as full-time help during breaks (summer, spring, and winter).

Shayna is the best! She has a schedule for my daughter that includes fun activities, educational lessons (I.e hand writing, reading for beginners), nap time, meal/snack times, etc. Shayna leaves a paper that tells me exactly what my daughter ate, activities played, lessons done, mood, noteworthy events, etc. She cleans up after they are done with activities and meals. After a long day of working, I always come home to a tidy house when Shayna is caring for my daughter; it's absolutely amazing. She is always on time and very accommodating to my schedule. Shayna is polite, trustworthy, and respectful of our home rules. I am very cautious with who I allow in my home and with my daughter, so I took the liberty of running a background check on Shayna; everything returned clear and I confirmed that she works as an educator for the CCSD school district. In the words of my daughter, "She's the best babysitter in the whole world!" I will rehire her every time :)
