About Shea

Hi! My name is Shea and I am a junior at URI majoring in Communicative Disorders I with a double minor in Human Development and Family Sciences & Special Populations. I am working towards my undergraduate degree so I can go onto Graduate School! Nurturing young minds is truly my passion, and it's what inspired me to begin this journey. With eight years of experience caring for children aged newborn to 11, I bring a patient, yet formal, approach to childcare. I am comfortable caring for up to three children. I actively engage kids with outdoor sports, board games, and educational activities. I also have First Aid Training and have completed Early Child Development Coursework. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and always follow parents' preferred communication methods. I'm happy to assist with cooking, carpooling, and light housekeeping. I am committed to making a positive impact in your children's lives, and I look forward to hearing from you!
