Hello, I am a 56-year-old mother of 1 son, 26 years old. I have been in the United States since 2011, and I am a citizen. I speak Farsi and English. I am a very healthy, organized, reliable and responsible person. I love children and have been around kids all my life. I have been a babysitter both part time and full time. I also worked at a pediatric dental office for 5 years. I live in Alexandria and am looking for a nanny position in our area. I am willing to get a background check done. I can start early in the morning and am very flexible and willing to work some weekends.

Sheida is fantastic. She has watched around daughter as her full time nanny from 4months-2 years. She is incredibly loving, kind, patient, and fun. Sheida is so incredibly reliable- in the time we have been with her she has never once been late and always willing to help out wherever she can. I trust her wholeheartedly and feel so lucky to have found someone to care for my child like their own.

Sheida watched our 1yo while we were visiting town for an event. She was so sweet, calm (despite his separation crying!), and was very attentive to our wishes and instructions. Would recommend her!

Sheida has watched my younger son approximately 20 times from the time he was 5 weeks old until now as a 7-month old, and we look forward to continuing to work with her. She is sweet, patient, and confident with taking care of my baby. She asks questions to make sure she knows exactly how we want him to be taken care of, and he always has a smile for her. She is dependable, thoughtful, and genuinely loves young children. And she finds things to do around the house that are helpful that I never would have asked her to do (like clean up bottles/dishes, or tidy up). She is a phenomenal caregiver and person.

Sheida is an amazing nanny and a person. She watched my daughter from 5 - 10 months. Unfortunately, our life situation changed. If we could hire Sheida again, we absolutely would. She is so loving, caring, thoughtful and overall amazing. My daughter loves her deeply.

Hello! We hired Sheida in September 2021 when my son was 2 months old, originally part time.  We loved her so much right away, and she quickly became part of our family.  Once I went back to work, she has been with us full time, and I truly cannot imagine my life without her.  In the year that she has been with us, Sheida has ALWAYS been on time, extremely reliable, and hard working. I also have a 3 year old daughter who she helps out with as well, when her daycare is closed for various reasons.  Sheida has helped us immensely around the house, and it's so nice to come home to clean baby bottles and baby dishes.  Sheida also cooks for my son, which just takes another task off of my hands.  I would never want to be without Sheida in my life, but unfortunately we are leaving the country for another job, and I cannot take her with me. We love her so much, and most importantly, my kids love her very much. I could not recommend Sheida enough.

We hired Sheida to help with our two small children for a month.  Sheida was always extremely reliable and punctual.  She was kind and gentle with our children and always kept a watchful eye on them.   Sheida helped to make food for them, play with them, take them to the park, read to them, give them baths and to do their laundry.  Both of our children warmed up to her quickly and she did a great job with each of them.   Sheida is an excellent care giver.

Sheida has been our children's nanny since August 2020. We have a 4 1/2 year old and an almost 1 year old. When she started with us, our strong-willed oldest child was dealing with lots of changes; a new sibling and being out of preschool due to the pandemic. He definitely put her through some rough days but she always remained calm and soft-spoken with him and set clear limits, which he really needed. Sheida is and always has been absolutely wonderful with our children. She is caring, attentive, and always keeps them safe. They go out for walks, to the park, sit outside for lunch or a snack, play with toys, legos, blocks, puzzles, or read books. Sheida is always punctual and reliable. Our oldest child is now in Pre-K but he misses her during the day. Our youngest lights up when she comes in the morning. She is the only one that can get him down for a good nap so we really miss her on the weekends! You can really tell that she loves children and we are so lucky to have found her!

Absolutely fabulous caregiver, would highly recommend her to anyone! We hired Sheida when my nanny of 6 years decided to leave us temporarily due to concerns regarding the Covid-19 pandemic. Sheida has been with us for 5 months. She is amazing, kind, and wonderful with kids. She is extremely organized, works very hard, punctual, and always willing to help.  When she started, my son's diet consisted of may be 2 or 3 dishes (extremely picky eater), now he eats everything including fish, different types of Persian food, veggies, fruits, and is MORE THAN willing to try new things. Sheida truly cares about kids and their well-being by ensuring that they are on a balanced, healthy schedule. My kids adore her, they are always doing things together such as playing, reading, drawing, puzzles, and other types of children activities. My family and I were truly blessed to work with her, my old nanny is coming back or else we would ask her to stay with us forever, we will miss her dearly!

I highly recommend Sheida as a caregiver.  She started watching our daughter when she was just 5 months old and I can see that they both enjoy the time together and our daughter lights up when Sheida arrives now.  I was able to return to work without guilt or concerns about her well being.  I wish that we could afford to have her full time!

Ms. Sheida worked with us for almost a year, and we were entirely satisfied with her work. I and my husband work from 9am to 5pm, and Ms. Sheida gave us no reason to be worried about our little one while at office. We found her trustworthy, punctual, caring, and with good experience of taking care of a child. 

Ms. Sheida took our daughter outside to park when the weather permitted, but if not, played with her different learning games at home. Also, Ms. Sheida had established sleeping and eating routines for our baby, and she made sure to stick with them. 

We also found Ms. Sheida to be understanding and flexible. If we were delayed by traffic or stuck at office later, she never minded staying a bit later until we arrived. 

It's noticeable that Ms. Sheida likes being with kids, and that she enjoys taking care of them. I am highly recommending her to anyone looking for childcare.
