About Sheila

I am a grateful single mother who helped my child transition from Spec. Ed. in kindergarten for emotional issues, to mainstream classrooms and supported him as he made his own discovery of a different gender identification from his birth gender.(a side note, he is content in his own physical birth body.)I am 1 of 7 children with 4 younger siblings, my twin sister and I babysat for. My parents bought a day camp for 500 kids daily in Weston, Ct.( he taught 5th grade in Weston,)and I worked as a counselor, in all capacities, from ages 13-30. I started the Kids' Club on Duck Key, Fl. and the drama club in the public school middle school in Marathon key, Fl. I respect all children and their issues, positive and challenges. I soaked in good direction from the excellent spec. ed. teachers my child had that applies to all of us, regardless of age. I love to help children discover, create , learn and enjoy physical activity, especially outdoors.
