About Shelby

I have been working with children since 12 years old, starting with watching relatives and family friends, and eventually working for a service. I am currently in school at Washington College, studying to be a teacher. I have experience with children ages 6 months to 14 years old, however my favorite ages are under 1 and 6-Preteen. As someone who has sibling with disabilities I have experience with children with Autism, epilepsy, and other special needs. I am Kind, bubbly, and creative! I like working with kids because as a future teacher children are my passion I'm looking for a job that fits with my class schedules. I would also love to work with a family who communicates well. As a college student I am looking for a reoccurring position that is predictable. In my spare time, I am working towards my degree in education. I am an art and history double major and an education minor. After school I'd like to be a middle school teacher. I also love animals and crafts.
