About Shelby

I'd describe my personality as patient, playful, and caring I like working with kids because they are my favorite kind of people, they are fun, creative, and full of potential. I'm looking for a job that gives me an opportunity to work with kids and allows me to engage with them and make the lives of parents less stressful when they are in need of care taking. I started working with kids when I grew up with younger brothers that I always babysat, I first started working as a babysitter 5 years ago (when I was 15). In my spare time, I like to be outside, go to the beach, go for hikes, play soccer and other sports. My skills include I am first aid and CPR certified (safety is a top priority for me as a caregiver), I love creating fun and engaging actives for kids, and I absolutely care about the children I have and endless about of empathy when it comes to understanding and validating a child's feelings
