I am a Career Nanny with over 13 yrs paid experience in Colorado & 2 years as an Au Pair in Europe. 5+ years of household management. I have a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. I follow a Reggio Emilia & RIE approach to childcare. I focus on a child-centered approach & view children as capable, curious & autonomous. They are active learners that I can guide & facilitate by their interests & relationships. I believe the environment serves as a third teacher & that exploration helps to inspire young minds. I focus on emotional intelligence & support the child's development of this skill by teaching & enabling them to understand & express their complex feelings in age appropriate ways.
