I've always loved working with kids. I enjoy helping them have fun in a safe environment, while helping the parents with their busy schedules. I currently work M-F 8-4 in Columbia, but am available in the afternoons/evenings and on weekends for regularly scheduled babysitting, or one-off days. While in graduate school, I was a nanny for a child from the ages of 3-8. I also babysat regularly for a family with a preschooler and elementary aged child, and another family with a preschooler. My last two years of college I babysat for two families on a regular basis. One had three children under 7 and the other had a 6-year-old and a 3-year-old. When working with kids, I especially enjoy spending time outside, playing games, doing crafts, and encouraging creative play.

Shelley has been with us for about 3 years. She has become an invaluable member of our family. My daughter loves her and I often think I would be lost without her help! We started Kindergarten this year which is why our schedule has changed and don't need as much care. We are a law enforcement family, and it is priceless to know that your child is safe. I always know where they are and what they are doing. If you hire her, make sure you treat her right!
