I'm a compassionate, dependable caregiver with 24 years of experience in education and supporting individuals with diverse needs. As a former special education teacher and behavioral specialist, I understand the importance of patience, dignity, independence, and truly getting to know each person. I currently provide direct support to adults with disabilities and offer personalized senior care and companionship. I enjoy conversation, therapeutic art and creative activities, nature walks, community outings, cooking, errands, and helping people stay active and connected. My experience includes developmental and cognitive disabilities, executive-functioning and behavioral needs, grief, and major life transitions. I tailor my support to each person's interests, abilities, routines, and goals.
