About Sheward

I am a 51-year-old female caregiver with eight years of caregiving experience in New York. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the Philippines and am PCA certified. In addition, I have completed training in safe client handling, fall prevention, and dementia care. I am physically able to safely assist with lifting and transfers up to 40 pounds. I also have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record. This allows me to arrive on time for scheduled visits and assist with essential errands, including grocery shopping, pharmacy pick-ups, and other daily needs. My social work background has strengthened my ability to communicate respectfully and clearly with clients and their families, recognize psychosocial needs, and provide compassionate, person-centered care. I am dependable, patient, attentive, and committed to helping older adults maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life in their own homes.
