About Shirley

We hired Shirley in July 2021 and she took excellent care of my mother for nearly a year, until my mother entered a memory-care facility. Shirley is an empathetic, thoughtful, funny and bright person. She came to our home every morning on time and with a smile. A typical day included fixing breakfast, walks with my mother and the dogs, playing memory games, fixing lunch, helping my mother with speech and doctor appointments, showering and hygiene, light housekeeping and much more. Shirley took a great deal of initiative to learn more about my mother's disease on her own time and applied that knowledge at work. She kept the mood light and cheerful and often made us all laugh. She greatly improved our quality of life while she was with us. We feel like she is part of the family and have kept in touch. Shirley is a fantastic caregiver and I would not hesitate to hire her again.
