About Shynice

I started working with kids when I was 8 years old. My mother passed away when I 8 months old and so my Aunt, Sandra, took me in ever since. My Aunt Sandra ran a Daycare inside of our apartment and once I turned 8 years old, I decided on my own that I wanted to help babysit the children. My aunt always told me that I didn't have to help her but I sincerely enjoyed interacting and help raising the children. Overtime I learned how to prepare meals and snacks, manage nap time routines for the children, and I even engaged with the children by teaching age-appropriate activities and games such as arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational games. Being a babysitter is a fulfilling and rewarding experience that aligns with my passion for majoring in Nursing and minoring in Early Childhood Education. The youth is our future and it is important to me that every child has somebody to depend on physically and emotionally.
