About Simona

I'm a motivated college student at Virginia Tech studying public health. I truly love to help people, especially to the people I've helped. I have volunteered at numerous places, such as local elementary school events, at Heritage Farm Museum (as a summer camp counselor and volunteering for their Kids Night). I have over 200 hours of volunteer work and being a mentor to children. I believe with my enthusiasm and specialized experience, I would make a great caregiver. I also have numerous of siblings and cousins that my family members trust me to care for when they are busy at work or on vacation. I'd describe my personality as friendly, imaginative, and patient. I like working with kids because I have gained a special heart because of their endless energy and resilience. When working with children, I am not only their babysitter but their cheerleader. Working with children has made me more responsible for having an upbeat, positive attitude all while ensuring their safety.
