About Skylar

I started babysitting when I was about 13 years old. Throughout my life, I have worked with kids in many different settings as a babysitter, tutor, camp counselor, mentor, afterschool activities assistant, and an ABA therapist. Whether it's been a really long day at work or school, I know that if I'm working with kids I'll be laughing and having a good time. At Tulane University, I participated in a community service internship with RoboRecovery at Son of a Saint, an organization that supports K-12 at-risk boys in New Orleans. In this role, I taught middle-school-aged boys LEGO Robotics. The goal of the program is to help them identify their interests so that they are on a path to forming future college and/or career plans. I am currently continuing my studies in the Master's of Forensic Psychology program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
