About Sofie

I'd describe my personality as kind, lighthearted, humorous. I like working with kids because they freely express their needs and emotions without embarrassment. I'm looking for a job with families that are consistent so I can build a relationship with the kids. I'm a college students so ideally I would love to work with families who need a sitter in the summer, as well as over holiday breaks. I started working with kids when I was 13 at a summer camp. In my spare time, I like to run, read, laugh with my friends, volunteer with advocacy groups. One thing you should know about me is I am very empathetic and good at making kids laugh. I am very easy going and down for whatever you or your children like to do in the time we share. I want to feel like a companion that gets paid to hang out with them ;) My skills include de-escalating situations, inclusivity and kindness, and assertiveness.
