About Sonia

Hello, My name is Sonia. I am middle aged and child-free, however I enjoy working with children. My last job working with children was the summer of 2021: I was a teacher-assistant at a forest school in San Francisco for a summer kindergarten. Previous to that, I have worked human service jobs for many years over my lifetime. Most recently, I have done in-home elder-care. I have a spotless record and driving history, and have my own car. I love the outdoors, and love watching people discover nature, especially children. Currently I am living with a dear friend who has a kindergartener on the autism spectrum, and I feel very comfortable here. I am easy to work with, professional, and have always had 1st aid and CPR certifications (may need updating!). I have been a swim instructor for children in summer camp, and a residential counselor for young adults with emotional challenges in a group home setting. And I love art and performance, and learning new things.
