About Sooklee

As a mother of two boys, I have years of hands-on childcare experience both at home and professionally. Throughout my sons' elementary school years, I volunteered full-time in their classrooms, assisted teachers, worked with students, served as room mom, and coordinated as a soccer team mom. I also worked for three years in a family childcare program, caring for and teaching 8-12 children daily from drop-off to pick-up. My responsibilities included supervising children, planning educational and creative activities, preparing nutritious meals, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, and supporting each child's learning and development. I am currently earning my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in Early Childhood Education to further strengthen my knowledge and skills as an early childhood educator. I enjoy cooking and preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals for children, and I understand the importance of healthy eating as part of a child's overall well-being.
