About Sophia

I completed my undergraduate with Honors with High Distinction in International Studies - Linguistics. I am a native Spanish speaker (as I am ethnically mixed) and scored a 5 on the French AP Language and Culture exam and did well in advanced French classes in college. I completed an internship at the Embassy of Ecuador in Mexico City the summer after my junior year of my bachelor's program. I scored well on my SATs and PSATs as a high school student, within approximately the top 2. 5 percent of Hispanics, and was a finalist for the National Hispanic Recognition Program, enabling me to receive full tuition scholarships when upon entering college. I now teach SAT Prep (both Verbal and Math) at my high school, though it is not my primary content area. I scored within the top 95th and 96th percentiles when I recently took the LSAT, and did fairly well on the GRE diagnostic I took once. I am happy to take an official GRE and report my scores to any interested students/families.
