About Sophia

Hello! My name is Sophia and here is a bit of information about me: Experience: I currently have 6 years of childcare experience working with children from all ages (babies, toddlers, kids, teens) as I worked as a nanny while obtaining my undergraduate degree. Of those 6 years, I have 3 years of experience working as a private nanny. I also have experience caring for multiple children in daycare settings and at a Montessori school where I was an assistant teacher. Education: In 2022 I got my BA in Psychology at Trinity University. While there, I elected to take classes focused on children and families such as lifespan development, childhood development, maternal mental health, music in childhood & more. I also worked in a children's research lab that studied language development in children ages 2 to 4. My goal as a caregiver is to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the kids in my care. I'm looking for a full time position for at least a year.
