About Sophia

Hi! I'm Sophie, an undergraduate nursing student at the University of Michigan with 4 years of professional childcare experience. My sister has significant disabilities, so caregiving has always been a meaningful part of my life. During the summer, I work part-time at a childcare center where I've been employed since 2023. Through my role, I care for children ranging from 2 months to 10 years old! As a nursing student, I maintain BLS certifications and maintain health requirements for clinicals. I have also completed infant safe sleep training and child health and safety education. Importantly, because I work Wed-Fri, and will be going back to school in late August, I am looking for a family who needs help from time to time, whether that be date nights, last minute plans, etc. I'm happy to be a backup for anyone that needs it. Growing up in a home where caregivers were an important part of our daily life, I understand the impact of caretakers in kids lives. Thank you for your time!
