About Sophia

Hi! I'm Sophia, 24, and have lived in the Milwaukee area for five years. I have a BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance and over 10 years of childcare experience with children from infancy through the teen years. My background includes long-term babysitting, working as a Lead Preschool Teacher, children's theatre teaching and choreography, after-school care, and swim instruction. I also have experience supporting children with special needs as a Cross Categorical Aide and teaching one-on-one adaptive swim lessons for children on the autism spectrum. I love music, dance, art, animals, hiking, and spending time outdoors. As a nanny, I want to create a safe, fun, and encouraging environment where children feel valued and confident. I love planning creative activities, exploring outside, reading, imaginative play, and helping children develop independence. Building meaningful, lasting relationships with children and their families is what I love most about childcare!
