About Sophia

Nurturing a child's curiosity and watching them reach new milestones is my greatest passion. I am a 25-year-old Art Therapy graduate (2024) who has spent several years deeply immersed in child-centered work. With four years of experience caring for children ages 6 months to 11, I provide a patient, calm, and imaginative environment. My background includes serving as a daycare teacher, a part-time nanny, and an intern supporting children with ADHD and trauma. I also played collegiate soccer, an experience that shaped my teamwork, discipline, and ability to stay focused under pressure. Guided by my Art Therapy degree and Early Child Development coursework, I prioritize creativity, emotional safety, and structured routines. I support growth through educational games, puzzles, crafts, and outdoor play. I hold CPR and First Aid certifications to ensure a safe space. I am happy to assist with light housekeeping and care for up to two children. I look forward to supporting your family!
