About Sophie

Hi I'm Sophie. I am new to Salem but grew up on Martha's Vineyard, prior to moving here I was a Vet Tech / Surgical Assistant for a veterinarian on MV for 7 years. I have completed the EMT training course and am trained in CPR. I have over 10 years experience in child care and genuinely enjoy caring for children of all ages. On Martha's Vineyard I have multiple families I helped for multiple years until the children grew out of the age of needing supervision. My most recent reoccurring job is for a family that summers on MV with 2 children, 2 and 4 years old, that I have known since they were born that I care for every summer, so I am also very comfortable with baby's and toddlers. I am 1 of 5 children and have been caring for children and babysitting since I can remember. My younger sister has Cystic Fibrosis so I have lot of experience with caring for children with special needs. Multiple references can be provided.
