About Sophie

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, optimistic, and outgoing. I like working with kids because they bring out the joy in life and I learn new things from their perspective. I love being a trusted and caring adult they can look up to. I started working with kids when I was a teenager-- babysitting and working at various camps. Professionally, I have 1. 5 years of nanny experience and 5 years of teaching experience in which I've worked with children and students ranging from ages Pre-K through 22 years with a range of abilities. In my spare time, I like to spend time outside, craft, cook, and spend time with family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I am moving out of the state come January 2027. The position I am looking for would be short term, starting June 2026-January 2027. My skills include being flexible, hardworking, efficient, compassionate and caring, creative, and being CPR certified and Crisis Prevention Certified.
