About Sophie Michelle

Hello! My name is Sophie and I am home in San Diego for a few months before starting graduate school in the fall. I grew up and have been babysitting in San Diego for the past 10 years. I majored in elementary education and child development at VU, so I not only have years of hands-on experience working with children of all ages and needs, but a thoughtful academic perspective as well. I treasure building trusting relationships with children that allow us to have tons of fun while being respectful and kind to one another and our space (e. g., making sure your home looks the same as when you left, besides a few new art pieces!) I am open to tutoring children during babysitting sessions or just following their whims! I love to read, bike, hike-- basically be outside as often as possible in San Diego! I have many references that I can share regarding both my babysitting skills and my academic and work background. I look forward to getting to know your family.
