About Spenser

I am currently working as a classroom counselor in a therapeutic school. Prior to this, I worked three years on a CBAT unit for kids aged 4-14. In both of my positions I have worked with neurodivergent children and children struggling with emotional difficulties. I believe that children do well when they can and always take a strengths based approach. I love spending time with children and am easily able to relate to them. I love arts and crafts, playing games, and don't have trouble keeping up with more active kids! As a transgender woman, I have a great sense of compassion and empathy for any kiddo that falls outside of "normal." I love being a voice and a role model!
