I am a certified K-6 teacher and 4-8 math teacher. I am a recent Yale School of Nursing graduate who is currently studying for my APRN board exam. Nursing is my second career - I previously worked as a teacher for 6 years. I spent 3 of these years teaching middle school math, and also have a background in elementary education. I am a certified EMT-B, and hold both a BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification as well. I am a lover of learning, arts and crafts, gymnastics, and baking. Biggest Taylor Swift fan ever. In my first year as a middle school math teacher, my students had the highest growth percentage on the SBAC in the entire school district across all grade levels for any subject.
