About Stella

I have years of experience caring for children and providing them with developmentally appropriate learning experiences. I believe in the joy of play, and seek to provide a nurturing environment that enables your child(ren) to thrive! As a cross-country runner, I seek opportunities to be outside with kids, keep them active, and help them explore nature. I strive to provide the children I care for with foundational learning experiences through interactive reading, music and art. I believe in capturing "teachable moments" in everyday activities such as baking (quantities, measuring, mixing) or cleaning up (organizing, sorting, sizes, colors). In addition to nanny and childcare experience in this country, I have been an Au pair in Europe through a selective nanny placement organization and met all of their personal and training criteria. I am multi-lingual, having tutored children in English, Spanish and Russian. I also served as a volunteer at a children's museum and Church nursery.
