About Stephanie

I began tutoring when I was in high school, and have since served children as tutor, nanny, non-profit education director, student advocate, public school teacher, and most importantly, as a mother. I'm addition to having an M. Ed in human behavior/special education, I am also a certified pregnancy and childbirth educator and doula. As a tutor, as with most everything I do, I approach the process through a holistic lens, paying close attention to not only where your child is academically, but also emotionally and developmentally. I love serving as a tutor because witnessing a child's "a-ha" moments, and seeing them fill with light and confidence, is always magical.
