Hello! ~ I am a young retired woman who has served as a Hospice Chaplain for 10 yrs. alongside an international career. I have a B. A. in human development and an M. Div. in bioethics. I know how healthcare should work and I advocate for my clients! ***I specialize in dementia care and have served several clients all the way through home safety, diagnosis, to transitions to assisted living or memory care.*** I'm honored to work with families and individuals to coordinate care that is meaningful, respectful, and robust. My care results in safety and thriving. To get there, I am fun, warm, creative and focused on care for the whole person. I think not only about required routines for meds, movement, meals but also make sure the environment and conversation are pleasant. Most of all, I am deeply empathic and respectful and coordinate with caregivers to ensure check-ins are clear and reliable. I live by the Golden Rule. I care for seniors as I would want others to care for my parents
Stephanie works with us assisting my aunt who lives with dementia. Since I’m in another state, Stephanie’s detailed care and keeping me informed has been invaluable. She observes more than most, takes care of every day tasks, helps manage medical appointments and meds, while dealing patiently with my aunt’s strong personality. Stephanie also facilitates her involvement in social opportunities which have enriched my aunt’s newly retired life stage. She goes above and beyond !
