About Stephanie

Hi, I'm Steph! I'm 29 years old and I have been helping care for children for about half my life. I'd describe my personality as patient, caring, and engaging. I started working with kids when I was in middle school babysitting younger kids in the neighborhood as well as my little cousin. In high school I helped with vacation bible school and church summer camps where I would help lead groups of kids with games, crafts, and other activities. As a young adult I went to South America to volunteer as an intern at an orphanage for a summer where I got to work with infants, toddlers, and older children with and without disabilities. When I returned I began serving at an after school program for an elementary school through my church. I have a doctorate in physical therapy and work 3 days a week as a PT. In my spare time I like to go on walks with my dog, exercise, read, socialize with family and friends, volunteer, and watch movies.
