This May I received my Master of Science in Literacy degree from Mercy College. Prior to teaching, I babysat for 10 years, tutored for five years, and worked as a residential and community habilitation aide for a disabled young man. All my life I have worked with children in the structured settings mentioned above, but I have also taught as a religious education teacher, vacation bible school teacher, drove children to extracurricular activities, and substitute taught in two districts.
